Their ring is at hand

Measure a ring on your screen

Borrow a ring from the finger it goes on, set it on the circle, and read the size.

1. Match a card

Hold any bank card or gift card against the screen, short edge on the line. Slide until the two end marks meet its corners.

2. Match the ring

Lay the ring on the circle. Grow or shrink it until the circle's line sits just inside the metal.

Right on a size.

Screens and paper can be off by a little. Before you order, tell the jeweler how you measured and ask about resizing.

No screen handy? Print the circle sheet

Print at 100% (actual size), check the 1-inch square with a ruler, then lay the ring on the circles. The circle that fills the inside of the ring is its size.

Getting it right

  1. The right ringOne they wear on the same finger, on the same hand. A ring from another finger can be a size off.
  2. The inside edgeMatch the circle to the inside of the band, not the outside.
  3. Put it backIt takes about a minute. Return it where you found it.
